Everybody knows

I've been a fan of Cohen for a long time. One of my favorites is his work on the soundtrack of McCabe & Mrs. Miller. It's either out of print or never released, I've looked all over for it. I also think the songs from the movie are on his first album - Song of Leonard Cohen. He does a spoken word piece on the recent Herbie Hancock CD - The Joni Letters that I really like. I think the song Everybody Knows is also on the Pump the Volume movie with C Slater. Rufus Wainwright and Concrete Blonde do great versions of Everybody Knows. I think Concrete Blonde had a hit with it back in the early to mid 90s. LC's first album and Songs of Love and Hate are good places to start if you're looking for more. Let me know if you're interested and I'll post them on my site. The YTube piece was good too.
You know, in the back of my mind I was hearing a woman singing the chorus to
Everybody Knows, but I didn't think to follow that up. Concrete Blonde, of course. Haven't heard Rufus's version, maybe that's the song that will help me get into his music, which I haven't been able to yet.
